Kite-Safari April 2023

Our April 2023 safari was an incredibly exciting and action-packed adventure. It was a unique experience as we embarked on not just one, but two magnificent yachts in the Red Sea: the My Anemone Turquoise, boasting one of the largest and most luxurious vessels accommodating 32 passengers, and the Admira, with a capacity for 24 passengers. 

We believe this may have been the first time that two yachts were utilised simultaneously in such a manner, and it turned out to be an absolute delight. The more kiters we had on board, the more friends we made, which only amplified the fun and camaraderie. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we have already planned another trip in November with two separate boats. With over 50 kiters hailing from the UK, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, USA, and Bulgaria, our dedicated crews made it their utmost priority to cater to everyone's needs and preferences. However, it's worth noting that the week we chose coincided with both the UK and European school holidays, allowing many of our clients to bring their families along for a memorable experience of water kitesurfing and diving. Nevertheless, this also meant that there were approximately 30 other boats traversing the sea, creating a thrilling race to secure the best spots early on the first morning. Despite the competition, we strategically selected the northernmost spot and anchored both yachts approximately 100 meters apart.

From noon on the first day, when the wind picked up, until the end of our adventure, we scarcely had a moment of rest, except for Friday—the final day—when we decided to relocate to a coral area to indulge in some unforgettable diving experiences. Our days commenced at 6:00 am and typically extended until around 17:30, sometimes even continuing well into the evening, as evidenced by some of the captivating videos we have captured.
