Trip Tips

Harnesses and extra safety leash

Harnesses and extra safety leash

Bring in a climbing harness and your usual kitesurfing harness, with you! You may have to use both of them. The climbing harnesses are made for holding lots of wight. You need to make sure that kite has a strong safety, because you will have to clip into the chicken-loop with a carabiner, so you're attached securely to the kite. We are aware some snow-kiters, use climbing harness to make sure they are attached to the kite because they really touch the ground and do not want to come unhooked, accidentally. For the later reason bring also a second safety leash, please!

Getting arround

Getting arround

Please come with a car/van or hire one from the airport. Rented vehicles are not expensive in Italy and at least 3 of you should have a car at their disposal. We will move to different spots every day and at different times, depending on the wind conditions and having a means of transport is imperative. We cannot rely on the local public transport.
