Jamie Overbeek is joining us for our first Autumn Kite Safari this year. Throughout the trip, Jamie will offer personalised 1-to-1 and 1-to-2 coaching sessions during the day, helping riders progress faster with direct guidance from one of the sport’s top talents. Video analysis sessions with the Flying Dutchman will also be available on request, giving you the chance to refine technique, improve style, and take your riding to the next level.

Jamie Overbeek
Jamie Overbeek is one of the most exciting names in modern kitesurfing and the current world record holder in Big Air, known for pushing the limits of what’s possible on the water.
Originally from the Netherlands, Jamie has quickly risen through the ranks of the global kitesurfing scene, combining technical skill, fearless riding, and a passion for progression.
On our kite safari, Jamie will be sharing his experience through coaching sessions, tips on and off the water, and riding alongside guests — helping you improve your skills and take your kiting to the next level.
Dobrin Dobrev
With over 15 years of kite instructing and over 20 years ski instructing. Dobrin has a tone of experience on both snow and water. Being the owner of a kite & surf school Campo in Hurghada, Egypt he is the perfect guy to lead and teach. . A ton of experience on snow and water and the perfect guy to be in charge of many sport activities. Speaks English, Russian and Bulgarian.
Paul Buns
Paul grew up near the water and has been kiting since he was 11 years old — what started early became a lifelong passion. He trained and earned his instructor licenses on Sylt, one of Germany’s most iconic wind spots. Today he’s not only a certified instructor, but also a VDS trainer, teaching and mentoring new kite coaches.
In 2018, he launched Pauls Kiteschule at Brouwersdam in the Netherlands, where he focuses on small-group coaching, personal feedback, and safe, modern teaching methods. When he’s not teaching, he’s usually on the water himself, progressing his own riding and spreading good vibes.
On the safari, Paul brings a mix of experience, calm energy, and clear, structured coaching. Whether you want to work on fundamentals, transitions, or advanced technique, he’s always happy to help — both on and off the water.
He speaks German, English, and Dutch.
Sebastian Trocker
Sebastian is born and lives in South Tyrol, Italy. He has been skiing and snowboarding since he remembers, but in the last 15 years his passion is snow-kitting. He snow-kites at every opportunity and those are plentiful on the Southern Alpes plateaus. During the summer he is kitesurfing, rock-climbing and mountain biking. All those activities are just 10 min from his house and he is inviting you to show you around. Sebastian speaks German, Italian, Portuguese and English.
Ahmed
With over 11 years of professional experience and as a certified IKO Level 2 Instructor, Mohamed is a senior expert with a deep and intuitive understanding of wind and sea conditions. Throughout his extensive career in Hurghada, he has mastered the art of teaching students of all levels and managing water sport operations with the highest safety standards. He is the perfect professional to lead, coach, and inspire. Speaks Arabic, English and Russian.
Sultan
With over 12 years of professional experience and as a certified IKO Level 2 Instructor, Mohamed is a senior expert with a deep and intuitive understanding of wind and sea conditions. Throughout his extensive career in Hurghada, he has mastered the art of teaching students of all levels and managing water sports operations to the highest safety standards. He is the ideal professional to lead, coach, and inspire others.
He speaks Arabic, English, German, and Russian.
Lea Magdalena
I invite you to join mindful movement sessions that create balance between action and recovery. After an intense day on the water, my classes offer a gentle yet strengthening practice that supports regeneration, flexibility, and inner calm. Through breathwork and flowing sequences, we reconnect body and mind, creating space for a conscious wind-down at sunset.
In addition to movement sessions, I guide creative art classes that invite participants to express their experiences through color, texture, and form. These sessions provide a playful space for creativity, reflection, and connection beyond the physical practice. Together, movement and art create a holistic experience of inspiration, embodiment, and deep restoration.

Hey there! I’m Marvin, your e-foil trainer and fellow watersports enthusiast. At 42, I’ve been soaking up the joys of life on the water for years, and for the past 2 years, e-foiling has become my absolute passion. It’s a sport that ticks all the boxes—fun, smooth, and super easy to pick up whether you’re new to water-sports or looking for your next thrill.
Our project, World of Efoil, has been riding the wave for almost two years now, connecting people to the amazing world of e-foiling through a solid network of schools. We work with top-notch surf instructors and e-foil experts. Weather you’re ready to dive in for the first time or rekindle your love for gliding on the water, I’ll be right here to get you on board.

We will roughly know the wind conditions a week prior to the trip and will inform you of what kite sizes you should take with you. You can always rent one on the yacht though :).

High Deck - Floor 5
There are no cabins on this deck—just open sky, endless views, and the fresh, salty breeze of the Red Sea. This is your sanctuary in the sky, a wide-open space designed for movement, rest, and connection. By day, it’s our go-to spot for sunrise yoga flows, guided breathwork, and post-session mobility sessions to keep your body feeling strong and supple. In between kite rides, stretch out on one of the cozy sun loungers, recharge with a smoothie, or simply close your eyes and let the sea breeze wash over you.
And when the sun sets? The magic continues. This deck becomes a peaceful haven for sunset meditations, moonlit chats, and unforgettable stargazing under a sky so clear you’ll swear you can see the Milky Way
Sun Deck - Floor 4
The 4th Deck is a special space on board—home to just two guest cabins, along with the captain’s quarters and crew cabin, giving it a more private, relaxed feel. This deck features a spacious lounge area and plenty of sunbeds where you can kick back, catch some rays, or simply enjoy the sweeping views of the sea.
It’s also a perfect setting for early morning yoga sessions, post-kite mobility workouts, or a quiet moment with a good book. And for the thrill-seekers among you—yes, some brave souls do jump from this deck into the crystal-clear water below... (entirely at their own risk, of course!).
3rd Deck - Floor 3
The Upper Deck is where comfort meets connection. Home to 7 of the yacht’s cozy guest cabins, this deck is a social hub designed for both relaxation and good vibes. Step outside and you’ll find a breezy open-air lounge area with comfortable outdoor seating—perfect for mingling, sharing stories, or enjoying a post-session drink.
The deck also features a well-stocked bar where our crew is ready to mix up your favorite refreshments. Up front, a handful of inviting sunbeds await, offering the perfect spot to bask in the sun, take in the ocean views, or unwind after a day of adventure. Whether you're here to chill, chat, or celebrate—this is the place to gather, connect, and soak up the magic of life at sea.
Main (Dive) Deck - Floor 2
The Dive Deck (Deck 2) is where the action happens. It’s where our crew prepares delicious meals, and where we gather to eat, relax, and unwind. This deck is also the launch point for our zodiacs, taking you to the best kite spots and adventures. Plus, it's where we store and prep all the gear, making it the place where each day begins and ends.
Lower Deck - Floor 1
The Lower Deck is home to 7 additional guest cabins, designed for comfort and convenience. Cabins 1 and 2, located closest to the engine, are reserved for our guides and organisers, ensuring everything runs smoothly while you enjoy your stay. This thoughtful setup means that the rest of the deck is dedicated to providing maximum comfort and privacy for our guests, creating a peaceful and restful environment for your relaxation between adventures. Whether you’re unwinding after a day on the water or gearing up for the next session, this is your cozy retreat on board.
FAQs
I am a beginner. Is this a right trip for me?
The yacht trip offers the perfect conditions for beginners and advanced riders, alike. The location of this trip has ideal conditions for beginners for the following reasons: #1 We anchor the yacht in one of the best lagoons for kite-surfing in the world - clear warm water, no beach-goers to worry about, and plenty of space between the kite-surfers. #2 You get free rescue boat support. There are two boats available all the time to help when you are further out at sea or even close to the beach but lost your board or the kite is in the water and you are struggling. #3 There will be about 20 of us on board with about 5 to 10 beginners. #4 Our instructors only work with radio helmets, so they will guide you in real time on how to improve your posture and riding, thus significantly shortening the learning curve. You can spend more than the cost of this trip on other instructors teaching you something on the beach for weeks, while you can learn with us for 2 days and spend the other 4-5 days learning on your own and making use of the boats when needed. #5 Because of the rescue boats and the ability to anchor at different locations, we ride in all wind directions, thus again making use of all the time you are out there. I am sure you must have had frustrating kite-surfing days when you had to wait for the right wind direction or strength. #6 The wind is much stronger at sea than at the beach. Therefore if Hurghada station is showing 10kts, at see is bout 12 or 13knts. #6 Finally, we will have wing-foil equipment on board and an instructor too, in case the wind drops under 10knts (unlikely).
How often can we use the rescue boats?
As long as necessary. They are available as transport boats from the yacht to the lagoon islands and as rescue boats for stranded kiters.
What kite sizes should I bring on board?
We will roughly know the wind conditions a week prior to the 5th of November and will inform you what kite sizes you should take with you. You can also always rent one on the yacht.
What type of food is it avaible on the yacht?
The food is buffet-style. There is a variety of food on board such as fish, chicken, beef, salads, fruits, and vegetables. If you're looking for something sweet, there's a large selection of pastries, cakes and traditional Egyptian and European desserts.
There will be vegetarian and vegan options available.
Where exactly can I ride?
Because of the wind, we and the local guides decide on the exact kite safari location only a day or two in advance. We are flexible - after all, we are on a yacht! We will pick the best spots according to the optimal wind conditions so you can get the maximum kite time. The most probable spots are the lagoons around and near the following islands in the Red Sea: Ashrafi, Abou Moungar, Gessum and Tawila.
What time can I start riding?
The boats will be available from dawn to dusk so provided there are good winds and light, you can start riding at dawn.
Are there any hidden fees?
There are two fees which are not hidden but under the "not included" section on the site... These are compulsory and paid by every person on board, even the children.
The marina fee is €100 per person and the tips for the crew, the waiters, the chef, the beach boys, the guides and the boat drivers are €80 per person.
Can I bring a group of friends?
Yes! Just book as many suits and cabins as you need. Spaces are limited though, so hurry - especially if you're a large group.
What's the average water temperature?
The average water temperature in the Red Sea is above 20°C. The average air temperature is around 25°C during the day and 16°C at night, meaning the water will feel warm and once you get in, you won't want to get out.
